Nexnet Shows Workflow and Waveform to Czech  and Slovak Market

EDGECAM’s reseller in the Czech Republic featured Workflow and the software’s revolutionary Waveform Roughing strategies on the largest booth at the country’s recent International Engineering Fair, in Brno.

Nexnet, a.s. Sales Director David Emler says: “While we demonstrated the latest releases of EDGECAM, ALPHACAM and RADAN, one of the most exciting aspects was our introduction of Workflow and Waveform. We’ve achieved amazing results with Waveform roughing from many machinery partners’ open houses this year. Tooling engineers, in particular, were astonished by what Waveform can do.

“EDGECAM has recently celebrated 30 years of development, and showing the highest level of CNC programming automation achieved with Workflow, at the MSV Brno show, demonstrated that EDGECAM is still leading the way.”

He says as MSV BRNO 2013 is Central Europe’s biggest fair covering industrial machinery, sheet metal, precision engineering, mechanical and electrical sectors, it was a ‘must attend’ exhibition for them. “Manufacturers visit the show to look at CNC machinery, so it was the ideal venue for us to show how EDGECAM, ALPHACAM and RADAN can take those machines to the next level for them.”

With a number of strong leads taken on the booth, and agreements for new partnering arrangements with machine manufacturers, he says the show proved to be extremely successful for Nexnet and the Vero brands. “EDGECAM was widely recognised as a leading CAD/CAM company in the market, and many of our business partners had EDGECAM pop-up display stands on their booths. Also a number of CNC machines featured ‘Programmed with EDGECAM’ signs.”

It was the first time Nexnet had exhibited under the Vero branding.
